Kakinada: The Thondangi police have registered a case against the twitter account holder for posting obscene, vulgar trolling against a girl student of tenth class causing mental agony to her and her parents, police said.
Tholem Durga of Bendapudi village had lodged a complaint with the Thondangi police on Monday that her daughter Meghana who is a student of tenth class in Bendapudi high school.
She was being trolled on Twitter which caused her great mental agony.
Based on her complaint the police have registered a case against the twitter account holder with crime number 135/2022 section 509 IPC and section 67 of IT act 2020.
Action would be taken against the erring twitter account holder after detailed investigation, police added. (UNI)
