DOHA/DUBAI Jun 6 (Reuters) US President Donald Trump said today that leaders he met on a Middle East trip had warned him about Qatar.
Trump said he was told that Qatar was funding "radical ideology" after he had demanded they take action to stop financing militant groups.
This can add to the already raging Qatar debate and questions could be asked if America could have done something about it.
As we know, on Monday, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt released coordinated statements, announcing a diplomatic break with Qatar. They cut air, sea and land links and ordered Qatari officials and nationals stationed in their countries to return home.
The Arab states of Persian Gulf are engulfed in an unprecedented regional crisis after this!
