Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson and state minority community Minister Nawab Malik on Wednesday made another sensational disclosure saying that there was an International drug peddler present on the cruise ship on October 2, raising doubts over one ‘Dadhiwala” (bearded) person.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Mr Malik said an International drug peddler was present on board of cruise ship and was holding a weapon in his hand and was a close friend of Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede.
He further disclosed that one case was registered about an year ago, in which Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Sharadha Kapoor were called as witnesses in the case, but, yet no arrest has been made so far, why???? Malik questioned.
"An unknown letter which was received from the NCB office, stated that in over 26 cases Mr Wankhede and group had extorted money. The NCB official on Tuesday morning said they will take cognizance of the letter, but by the evening they turned down, saying it is an unknown letter, no signature was on letter, so as per law we cannot take cognizance of it. " Mr Malik said now doubts were being raised on the institution as a whole.
He said he stands by his statement that by using bogus and forged documents, Mr Sameer Wankhede got this government job.
"With CCTV footage of the cruise ship, everything will be clear, they had withdrawn Rs 50 lakhs and it was handed to one Sam D’souza, " he added. (UNI)
