Mumbai: The city police gave police protection to Prabhakar Sail, a witness in cruise ship drug bust case, following his explosive disclosure that the demand for an alleged bribe of Rs 25 crore had been made for release of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan.
He made a disclosure to media that another witness in the case K P Gosavi, who was also his employer, had demanded Rs 25 crore from the actor for the release of Aryan Khan. Finally, deal was finalised at Rs 18 crore, out of that Rs 8 crore were for Narcotics Control Bureau's Zonal director Sameer Wankhede while the remaining amount was distributed by other people among themselves.
On Monday, he approached the city police, alongwith his advocate, demanding police protection, as his and his family's life is in danger. He submitted all evidences against Wankhede to the Sahar Police station, sources said.
Meanwhile, Sail’s mother told mediapersons that she does not know the whereabouts of her son, as since last four months he had not contacted the family members.
Will Kiran Gosavi surrender in Lucknow?
Lucknow: Kiran Gosavi, the ‘private investigator’ whose selfie with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan went viral, was reported to be in Lucknow and could surrender before the police at Madiyaon police station.
Though Lucknow Commissioner of Police (CP) D K Thakur has denied such thing, but media persons are assembled at Madiyaon police station.
According to sources the last location of the mobile of Kiran Gosavi was reported to be found in Lucknow.
A private news channel too claimed that they have talked to Gosavi and he is expected to surrender at Madiyaon police station. (UNI)
