Lucknow: The Anti-Terrorism Squad of Uttar Pradesh Police has encircled a house in Haji locality at Thakurganj area of the state capital, where some militants, including an Islamic State suspected terrorist, were hiding.
According to senior police officials here, IS suspected terrorist Saiful, who is an accused in a Madhya Pradesh train blast case, along with some 4-5 other militants, fired at the security force personnel, who retaliated, and an encounter ensued. The security personnel were trying to force the suspects to surrender, they added. (UNI)
