Australian series still young, Pune loss not unexpected: Kumble

Bengaluru: Putting the humiliating test defeat against Australia in the back burner, India will be looking to clinch the series which is still young with three more tests to go, Team India Head Coach Anil Kumble said today.Speaking to reporters ahead of the second test to be played at M Chinnaswamy stadium here from March 4, he said as a coach he would like to look ahead and not look back.

'Yes.It (Pune test match) was one of those games that things did not go our way, but we need to move on as there are three more test matches left in the series,' he said.Kumble recalled how the Indian team had a fantastic home season winning all the series but it was one of those tames that things went wrong.'Australia played well, we did not really play well on that surface, which was challenging.We did not adapt (to the pitch conditions)well.Every game you need to adapt to what comes your way,' he said.
