New Delhi: The prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) were hiked by 5 per cent in the national capital on Monday. According to price notification of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a kl of ATF will now cost the domestic airlines Rs 123,039.71 in Delhi, Rs 127,854.60 in Kolkata , Rs 121,847.11 in Mumbai and Rs 127,286.13 in Chennai.

The rates are applicable from today. The ATF prices are revised on 1st and 16th of every month. The prices have increased every fortnight since the start of this year. On May 1, the ATF prices were increased by 3.22 percent. The rates differ from state to state depending upon local taxation. However, petrol and diesel prices have remained unchanged. The increase in fuel prices are being attributed to hike in energy prices on the supply concern arising out of ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. (UNI)
