A child with a face resembling Lord Ganesha was born in the Dausa District Hospital of Rajasthan.
As soon as the news spread in the hospital, people swarmed to get a glimpse of the ‘divine’ baby. However, the child died about 20 minutes after birth.
According per reports, a pregnant woman from Alwar was admitted to the hospital in Dausa after labor pain on July 31. The woman gave birth to the child at 9:30 pm.
The hospital staffs were surprised when they saw the child.
The child had a protuberance between the two eyes which people believe resembles the trunk of Lord Ganesha. There were ears in the throat.
Shivram Meena, the Chief Medical Officer of the district hospital, said, “In addition to genetic disorders, chromosomal abnormalities sometimes result in the birth of such babies.”
