New Delhi: The Supreme Court today said it would pass order tomorrow on Justice R M Lodha committee's plea to issue appropriate directives against BCCI for flouting the panel's recommendations. A bench, headed by Chief Justice T S Thakur, said the court would pass order tomorrow if BCCI refused to give any undertaking for reforms as per the panel's recommendations.

Earlier in the day, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) filed its status report in the apex court addressing the issue of "non-implementation" of Justice Lodha panel's recommendations.

The board, in its report, had refuted the allegations of non-compliance of the Committee's recommendations. BCCI's report stated that the board is a registered society under Tamil Nadu Society Act and any proposal would only be implemented provided that is passed with a majority motion.

A meeting comprising all members took place and several recommendations of the Lodha Committee were rejected by voting. Records of 40 mails sent to Justice Lodha are being submitted to the court. It is not true that BCCI authorities didn't respond to the Committee's mails. (UNI)
