Bihar: Rs 15 lakhs looted at gun point from Bank of Baroda in Bettiah

Bettiah: Armed criminals looted Rs 15 lakhs from Lauria Bazar branch of Bank of Baroda in West Champaran of Bihar on Saturday.

Police said here that four armed criminals barged into Lauria Bazar branch of Bank of Baroda and took all its staff and customers into their captivity at gun point. Later, they looted Rs 15 lakhs and managed to escape from the spot with cash, police added.

Soon after receipt of the incident, police reached on the spot and started investigation. An FIR in this connection had been registered at Lauria police station, police said adding that raids were being carried out to nab the criminals and recover the looted cash from them. (UNI)
