BJP MP honey-trap case: Woman held by police

New Delhi: Days after BJP parliamentarian KC Patel filed a complaint alleging that a woman has demanded Rs 5-crore threatening to embroil him in rape charges, Delhi Police has apprehended the woman in connection with the case. "The woman was arrested from her residence located in Ghaziabad," police sources said today.

The BJP MP in his complaint stated that the woman had invited him to Ghaziabad. After he had gone there, she offered him spiked drink and took his objectionable photos and videos. Then, she later started blackmailing him. Notably, the woman has alleged that police didn't act on her complaint and said that she was raped by Mr Patel. Sources said that police was questioning her as it has come to fore that she was involved in similar instances earlier. (UNI)
