Mysuru: Union Minister for Women & Child Development and Senior BJP leader Maneka Gandhi today expressed confidence that BJP will win the ensuing Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh. Speaking to reporters here, she said the BJP has already began the process to come to power in UP.
Ms Gandhi, who is also an animal activist, said that she was in constant touch with the authorities looking after 'Sidda' the elephant which is being treated near Manchanabele Dam in Ramanagaram and added she would pray for the giant's early recovery. She was on a brief visit to the city to participate in the valedictory of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science. (UNI)
