BSP has become Bahenji Sampatti Party: Modi

Orai: Slamming Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati in the party’s stronghold area in Bundelkhand region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that the BSP had become 'Bahenji Sampatti Party.' In another rally at Phulpur, the Premier attacked the Congress and said the destiny of India would have been different if Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had been the first Prime Minister of the nation. Addressing a public gathering, Mr Modi questioned the deposit of more than Rs 100 crore in the BSP account after demonetisation of high value currency notes.
 

He questioned why such a huge amount in cash was not deposited in banks. Slamming Samajwadi Party, Congress and BSP for criticising the demonetisation decision, Mr Modi said, 'They said more time should have be given but I ask why.... to settle the black money?' The Premier asserted that due to the policies of SP, BSP and Congress governments, Bundelkhand is starving for progress.

He said after the formation of a Bharatiya Janata Party government in UP, Bundelkhand development council will be formed to assure the development of this region. Mr Modi said, 'illegal mining is the only industry left here', adding that when the BJP will come to power, satellites will be used to keep surveillance on it and individuals found involved will be put behind bars.
