New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation today sought clarifications from Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia over an 'on going enquiry' here. The CBI reached Mr Sisodia's residence earlier in the day for recording his statements regarding an 'investigation' into the 'Talk to AK' campaign, official sources said. The probe agency has denied conducting any 'raids' as alleged by the Aam Aadmi Party.

Reacting to the development, the Aam Aadmi Party's media advisor to deputy CM, Arunoday Prakash said in a tweet, 'If they think Manish Sisodia will get afraid and stop working for schools after CBI raids, they are mistaken! Highly mistaken!” Mr Prakash blamed the Centre for the so called CBI 'raids' and said, "Earlier CM Arvind Kejriwal's office was raided, Centre using caged parrot to victimise voices of dissent, RIP democracy.' It was back in January last that the probe agency had set up an enquiry against Sisodia and others in connection with the alleged irregularities in the AAP government’s campaign “Talk to AK”. The enquiry was in the wake of the complaint filed by the Vigilance Department of the government of NCT Delhi, the sources said. (UNI)
