Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel's father arrested for 'derogatory' remarks against Brahmins

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's father Nand Kumar Baghel was arrested by the police here on Tuesday for allegedly making remarks against a community.

Nand Kumar, 86, was produced by Raipur Police before a local court which sent him to judicial custody.

A complaint was filed against Nand Kumar by the Brahmin community at a police station in Raipur.

In the complaint, the community alleged that Nand Kumar described Brahmins as foreigners. (UNI)
