CM Yogi inaugurates exhibition on PM Modi's life, work in Lucknow (PICS)

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated an exhibition based on the life and work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at BJP's state headquarters in Lucknow.

The exhibition was inaugurated as part of Modi's birthday celebration by BJP to give an insight into his life and work.

Union Education Minister and UP's election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan said, "For past 20 years, Prime Minister Modi has governed Gujarat and then the country. He has dedicated his life serving the nation."

"I think the life of our PM will give inspiration to our youths and they will get a direction of their life," he said.

The minister said BJP was celebrating Modi's birthday from September 17 to October 7 by organising programmes on 'Seva and Samarpan'.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh were among others who attended the ceremony.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the BJP electoral organisation would be held here on Thursday to decide on the responsibility that will be given to other joint in-charges and others. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be attending the meeting.

The state BJP has been holding meetings in view of the upcoming elections since Wednesday.

Dharmendra Pradhan had reached Lucknow on Wednesday and held a meeting with the office bearers of the organisation in the state BJP office. Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister and state election co-in-charge Anurag Thakur, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were also present during the meeting.

During the meeting, strategies for the next year assembly polls were discussed. (UNI)
