New Delhi: Delhiites continue to experience colder mornings with the minimum temperature settling at 9.4 degrees Celsius today, zero notch above normal, even as poor visibility conditions led to cancellation of 12 trains. An official of the India Meteorological Department has forecast a clear sky with shallow fog in the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 26 degrees Celsius.

“As many as 54 trains were delayed while 12 trains were cancelled due to poor visibility conditions in the national capital,” an official of the Northern Railway said. Around seven international flights were delayed and two were cancelled due to poor visibility conditions while other flight operations at Delhi airport were normal and as per schedule, according to the Delhi airport website.

The maximum and minimum temperatures for tomorrow are likely to settle at 26 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively, the official added. Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 26.6 and 8.8 degrees Celsius respectively.(UNI)
