New Delhi: While condemning the terrorist attack in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress today said the government needs to rethink its strategy of isolating Pakistan. ''What happened in Uri is wrong and condemnable, the Indian government should sit back and think about various options being used.The Indian government needs to rethink their strategy of isolating Pakistan,''AICC spokesperson Manish Tewari said.
Describing the Modi government policy towards Pakistani as 'confused', AICC spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said there was a need of decisive results and action. ''Modiji, country wants to come out of cycle of attack, criticism, promises, rhetoric, proof, sulk and again business as normal. Decisive results are needed,'' Mr Singhvi said. He also asked the NDA to stop the use of our national resources for snooping on political opponents or alleged imaginary beef eaters and deal with this well known 'neighbour enemy'.
India cannot be cowed down by such attacks:Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today strongly condemned the militant attack in Uri Sector of Kashmir and said India stands firm against such cowardly acts. In a tweet, he said, ''Strongly condemn cowardly attack at Uri in which 17 soldiers lost their lives. India cannot be cowed down by such attacks.'' Mr Kejriwal expressing sympathies towards those affected said,''My heartfelt condolences to the families of those martyred in Uri.'' (UNI)
