Congress set to lose another state as 44 MLAs join BJP allies

Itanagar: Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh, which was reinstated following the Supreme Court order nearly a month ago, is in trouble again as 44 Congress MLAs have joined regional outfit Peoples Party of Arunachal(PPA), an ally of BJP.

Kanen Ringu, Chairman of PPA told UNI that out of 47 Congress MLAs, 44 have joined the PPA. PPA is one of the constituents of the BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance. BJP state unit in Arunachal Pradesh said they will lend outside support to the PPA in the formation of the new government.(UNI)
