New Delhi: A Delhi Court adjourned for January 30 in the hearing of bail application of Shankar Mishra who was arrested on the allegations of urinating on a woman passenger in Air India flight between New York and Delhi.
Additional Session Judge adjourned the matter when the Investigating Officer not present before the Court along with reply as the copy of bail application was not received.
After dismissal of the bail application by Metropolitan Magistrate, Mishra moved the bail application in Sessions Court which was fixed for hearing Friday.
Counsel for Sharma earlier submitted before the court that Women was suffering from some disease related to prostrate and herself urinated and falsely implicated him in this case.
It is alleged that Mishra had urinated on a 70-year-old woman in an intoxicated condition in the business class of an Air India flight on November 26 last year.
Delhi Police of Indira Gandhi Airport police station have registered an FIR No 6 under various sections of Indian Penal Code against Mishra and arrested Mishra from Bengaluru.
Police have submitted that Shankar Mishra has been non-cooperative in this matter. (UNI)
