Dense fog shrouds national capital; affects rail, air services

New Delhi: Dense fog shrouded the national capital on third of the new year, affecting rail and air services. Due to poor visibility, 55 trains were running late, 22 rescheduled and six got cancelled. Seven international and six domestic flights were delayed and two got cancelled.

Delhiites woke up to a foggy morning, with the minimum temperature settling at 9.5 degree Celsius. According to the weatherman, the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 24.0 degree.
