Devendra Jhajharia wins gold at Rio Paralympics

Rio De Janeiro: India today bagged its second gold medal at the ongoing Rio Paralympics as Devendra Jhajharia clinched the top honors at the javelin throw event.The 36-year-old recorded a 63.
97 metres throw to become the only Indian to bag two golds at any Paralympic event.

Earlier, Jhajharia had won gold at the 2004 Athens Paralympics with a record throw of 62.
15 metres.India's medal tally has now reached to four with two gold, one silver and one bronze at the ongoing event.(UNI)
