Narsinghpur: In another instance of how advancement in technology can even indirectly assist in combatting crime, images captured by a drone camera at a wedding have resulted in the arrest of a man on charges of sexually assaulting and murdering a seven-year-old after luring her away from the venue in Station Gunj Police Station limits here.
Police said that Buddhu was apprehended on Wednesday for the crimes committed a day earlier.
The corpse was found under a heap of chaff.
Ironically, the accused was accompanying the girl as her caretaker. The culprit confessed during sustained interrogation. (UNI)
