4 present Indian cricketers in ESPN's top 100

New Delhi: Ace Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and wicket keeper batsman MS Dhoni's admiration are not just limited within India, as they are included in the list of world's top 100 athletes alongside popular superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Serena Williams and Roger Federer this year.ESPN has released a list of the world's top 100 popular athletes today, where Indian captain Virat got 13th position, former captain Dhoni was ranked 15th, Yuvraj Singh in 90th and Suresh Raina 95th.

Athletes have been selected on the basis of ESPN Game Review Director Ben Alamhar's formula.It has been ranked on the basis of sponsorship of players, their access to social media and other data.ESPN has released this ranking on digital editions in America, Africa and China with countries such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and Britain.

In India, it has been released on ESPNdactam.However, the Indian run machine Virat was placed at eight and former skipper MS Dhoni secured the 14th spot last year.Besides, ace Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza couldnt find a spot this year in the World Fame 100 list, although she was 41st in the list of popularity last year.

The Portuguese Superstar and Real Madrid ace forward Christiano Ronaldo is the world's most popular player in this list.LeBron James, the American basketball star is positioned second.Another Soccer sensation hailing from Argentina, the wizard of Barcelona Lionel Messi is third in the list while Swiss tennis star Roger Federer is the fourth most popular player in the world.
