NewDelhi: Explosives and ammunition were found during cleaning of wells inside the Red Fort. Some explosives and ammunition were discovered last evening in one of the wells behind publication building of Red Fort by the ASI during a cleaning operation, a police official said here. On receiving information, the area was cordoned off and NSG and Army were informed, he said.
Sources here said fire tenders were called in as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, Bomb Disposal teams from NSG and Delhi Police and dog squads are at the spot and the investigation is underway. Sources said the cleaning team could not identify the things and informed the police about the matter. (UNI)
