Former Congress MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely joins BJP

New Delhi: In a significant political development, former Delhi Congress president and ex-minister Arvinder Singh Lovely today joined the BJP giving the saffron party a major boost on the eve of MCD elections due to April 23.

Mr Singh took the primary membership of the BJP in the presence of party president Amit Shah and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari. Lovely, a former Delhi Transport Minister, was once known as a close associate of former Delhi Chief Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. (UNI)
