Four held for alleged rape, forcing woman to change religion in UP

Saharanpur:Four people were arrested on charges of allegedly raping and later forcibly wanting to change a woman's religion here on Tuesday.
After the woman furnished a written complaint to the police, Ahmed, Riyaz, Ashraf and Moti, who are residents of the Shekhpura Kadeem area in the Dehat Kotwali area, were arrested. Police have said that the woman had recently got married.
 
Ahmed allegedly lured her into a trap and took her to a hotel in the city where he allegedly raped her. He also allegedly made a video of the incident and showed it to his friends.
It has been alleged that he threatened the woman with making the video viral to create pressure for changing her religion. The woman has registered a FIR against 10 people in connection with the case. The medical check-up of the woman has confirmed rape.(UNI)
