Bangkok: A series of apparently coordinated bomb attacks in major tourist areas across Thailand that began last night and continued this morning have claimed four lives and injured many foreigners.
One person was killed last night following two explosions in a tourist area in the popular seaside resort of Hua Hin near Bangkok with another killed following two more explosions that rocked the town this morning. A bomb blast this morning in the coastal Surat Thani province, 600 km south of Bangkok claimed another life while a blast yesterday in the far southern province of Trang, about 800 km south of Bangkok killed one.(UNI)
