From G20 agendas to spiritually charged theatrics, DJJS Grand Janmashtami enthralled Delhiites

New Delhi: Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav 2023, "SAMBHAVAMI YUGE YUGE: Realise the Krishna Consciousness within!" on September 6 and 7, 2023 at DDA Ground, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s Janmashtami rocked Delhites with multi-cultural dance ballets based on Krishna’s life, which deluged the ambience with high devotional beats and spiritual energy.

The event witnessed high-profile dignitaries from political, social, and media arenas, with Smriti Irani, Union Cabinet Minister for the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Minority Affairs, as the Chief Guest of this mega event.

Smriti Irani praised Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan for its work in spiritual enlightenment and transforming jail inmates through spirituality.

She commended their efforts to educate young people about the importance of conserving desi cows.

Irani also expressed her admiration for the disciples of Divya Guru Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, regarding them as devoted individuals who keep the faith in God alive.

She wished the organisation well and hoped that children would be raised in a spiritual environment to become peaceful ambassadors for the country.

B.L. Santosh, National General Secretary of the BJP also graced the event with his presence.
It is noteworthy that the event was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Also, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has supported the organisation by running an exclusive metro for the devotees to commute easily.

On the whole, the two-day mega event witnessed the presence of around 40,000 to 50,000 devotees, as told by Swami Narendranand, Secretary of the Sansthan.

He also informed us, "The performances were showcased with 3D projections in the highest resolution, designed with the finest details of art, culture, heritage, wall panelling, carvings, landscapes, etc., to create an environment specific to the era of the performances."

Speaking about the robust security arrangements, Swami Adityanand, President of the Sansthan, said, "Around 1500+ fully trained volunteers and security personnel were deployed for overall management of the programme and security."

Sadhvi shared information about the speakers of the Sansthan, including their qualifications and roles within the DJJS organisation.

She also mentioned that the musical instruments used by DJJS are tuned at 432 Hz instead of the standard 440 Hz, as this is believed to be in harmony with nature and the emotions of humans, providing mental health benefits.

The event also featured tableaus depicting the life of Lord Krishna, which attracted the curiosity and enthusiasm of the devotees.

The Janmashtami event will be livestreamed on the DJJS YouTube channel on September 7, 2023.

The event was a fantastic blend of traditional wavelength and contemporary outlook, which was derived from the features that supported the agendas of the G20 Summit.
