Gangrape of Dalit woman, police books three

Moga: A 24-year-old Dalit woman has been allegedly abducted and gangraped by three persons at Chacktare Wala village of Dharmkot in the district. The victim had alleged that she went to take water from a pump near her house yesterday, when three car-borne persons pulled her inside the vehicle. The accused molested her in the moving car and later took her to a school, where she was kept in confinement for hours.
 

Then, they sexually assaulted her. The accused later dropped her from the spot, from where they had kidnapped her. Police has registered a case against the accused, identified as Balwinder Singh, Dilbag Singh and Parmjit Singh. The accused are yet to be arrested. Medical examination has confirmed that the woman was sexually assaulted. She has been admitted to a government hospital. (UNI)
