Honey trap: Mumbai woman held for trying to extort 15 crore from hotelier

Mumbai: In an incident of honey trap, a young woman has been arrested for attempting to extort Rs 15 crore from a hotelier in the Andheri area of the city after establishing physical relations with him, police said.
 
The woman, Nikita Sham Dadhich, alias Kimaya Kapoor, is currently in police custody and is being interrogated by the police.
 
According to the police, the complainant is a hotelier, and Nikita had come to him for the job of personal secretary. Meanwhile, she tried to gain his trust by getting close to him.
 
After getting intimate, in January, she called the hotelier at her home and gave him sedative medicine under the guise of tea.
 
The complainant alleged that she was blackmailing him by making videos on her mobile phone of her having physical relations with him.
 
She had threatened to defame him by sending videos to his family and relatives on social media if he did not pay her Rs 15 crore.
 
She also threatened him to lodge a false complaint of sexual harassment against him.
 
After constant blackmailing and threats of extortion from her, the hotelier narrated the incident to the Amboli police, which registered a case against Nikita and arrested her. Further investigation is on.
