HP polls: 28.6% turnout

Shimla, Nov 9 (UNI) An estimated 28.06 percent of the total 50,25,941 electorate cast their votes till mid day on Thursday in the Himachal Pradesh polls, voting for which started at 0800 hrs amid tight security. 

Polling began on a brisk note in all 68 Assembly segments of Himachal Pradesh after minor snags hit EVMs in Sirmaur, Solan, Bilaspur and Shimla district the turn out went up to 28.06 percent.
