Indian Navy rescues 33 Bangladesh nationals

New Delhi: The Indian Navy rescued 33 Bangladesh nationals  after the country was hit by cyclone 'Mora' yesterday, causing massive destruction. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Gopal Baglay in a tweet said, 'Update on rescue by Indian Navy: 33 BD nationals rescued.
 

INS Sumitra continuing search and rescue of more survivors.' INS Sumitra has rescued 33 people including children, women and elders, meanwhile the search and rescue operations by the Indian Navy are in full swing following destruction caused by Mora. Mora made a landfall in Bangladesh on May 30 causing massive destruction of property , the people living in coastal areas had to evacuate their houses , the official sources said. (UNI)
