Kochi: An incident of accidental fall of an international trainee in the Ernakulam channel has been reported at 1730 hrs on June 1, 2025, Defence sources said.
The international trainee was undergoing training at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, it said.
During the preliminary investigation, it has been ascertained that the trainee was on leave at Kochi enroute to his country.
A thorough Search and Rescue Operation has been launched in the area by the Naval diving teams.
