New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) The opposition parties in Delhi have again got a chance to take on ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government after its ousted minister Kapil Mishra made a slew of slanderous allegations against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Mishra had alleged the AAP of involving in creating hundreds of shell companies to channeling black funds into white. The leaders from opposition circle took help of micro-blogging site Twitter to react on former Water Minister accusations.
Delhi BJP General Secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal on twitter said, “It is a major expose by Kapil Mishra. Will Kejriwal have guts to say that he didn't accept black money through donation?”
Another BJP leader Satish Upadhyay also tweeted, “Shocking revelations by Kapil Mishra. Arvind Kejriwal is turning out to be the ‘SCAMSTER’ of decade. History won't forgive this shameless cheat.”
However, Delhi Congress Chief Ajay Maken raised a question as why the Modi government isn’t taking any action in this connection? “Why the Union Government is not acting on what Kapil Mishra is alleging now? This information should have been with the Agencies much before,” he tweeted.
Mr Mishra was on hunger strike since last four days against alleged role of Mr Kejriwal in corruption. At the end of the conference the sacked minister said he would "take Kejriwal by collar and drag him to jail."
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh termed the entire incident as a ‘circus’ and accused BJP of playing politics behind Mr Mishra.
