Jallikattu: SC declines to stay new act

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today declined to stay Jallikattu new Act, It issued notice to Tamil Nadu and sought a reply within six weeks on the new Act. The bench was headed by Justice Dipak Misra and also comprised Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman. A number of petitions were filed against the new act on Jallikattu. So far, almost 70 caveats had been filed in it. (UNI)
