Kalindi Express collides with goods train at Tundla station: Howrah-Delhi route disrupted

Ferozabad: Delhi-bound Kalindi Express collided with a goods train at Tundla station in Uttar Pradesh, disrupting the busy Howrah-Delhi route. Though railways claimed that no injuries were reported in the late night accident, eye-witness said three passengers received minor injuries.

Railway sources here said that 14723 Kalindi Express collided with a goods train at Tundla station in which the engine derailed at around 0200 hrs. Immediately, relief and rescue work was launched to remove the derailed engine and normalise the route. However, due to the accident, several Delhi-bound trains, including Rajdhani express trains were detained at different stations. (UNI )
