New Delhi: Sacked Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra was today assaulted by an alleged Aam Aadmi Party worker when he was on a hunger strike to demand the details of foreign visits by five AAP leaders. As Mr Mishra was sitting on the strike, he was attacked by a person claiming to be an AAP worker. He was slapped by the person. Later talking to reporters, Mr Mishra said, "I was lying on a fast. Suddenly a guy came and jumped on me.’’ He said, "I'm not hurt.
I don't want to name anyone.’’ Sources said that worker named Ankit Bhardwaj claimed to be an AAP worker and admitted to have attacked Mr Mishra. Mr Mishra began a hunger strike this morning after the Aam Aadmi Party failed to respond to his demand to make details of foreign visits of Ashish Khaitan, Satyender Jain, Durgesh Pathak and two others. The controversial leader alleged that he has been receiving death threats Mr Mishra had on Sunday accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of accepting Rs 2 crore from Delhi Minister Satyender Jain.
