New Delhi: In the escalating crisis in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), sacked Water and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra today threw up an open challenge to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal making sensational allegations that Health Minister Satyendra Jain gave him Rs 2-crore. Making his "revelations’’ to the media at the Rajghat here, Mr Mishra said he had told everything to the Lt Governor Anil Baijal and will also disclose everything to CBI and ACB.
The sacked minister said he was removed from the Kejriwal Cabinet after he spoke about the corruption. He also ruled out leaving the AAP, saying he has been a part and parcel of the India Against Corruption and the AAP from the very beginning, and he would leave no stone unturned to set things right in the organisation. Earlier in the morning, Mr Mishra had created suspense by tweeting that 'I have witnessed HIM taking illegal cash.. have shared all details with LG.' Mr Mishra said that things had reached at such a stage that it was now impossible for him to keep quite. (UNI)
