Kerala couple gets married by taking oath on Constitution

Kollam: A couple tied the knot by taking their marriage oath on the Constitution instead of following the traditional rituals at Karunagappally in this district of Kerala on Sunday.

Without tying the Mangala Sutra' (Thali), the marriage was held by just reading the Preamble of the Constitution, sources said.

The marriage of function of Rygin, a constable of Kerala Armed Police (KAP) Battalion of Adoor, and Akhila, farm instructor in the dairy department, was organised by the Library Council at Karunagappally. (UNI)
