Kasaragod: Police have arrested a man and registered POCSO case in connection with allegedly impregnating his 16-year- old daughter.
He was arrested while he was on the way to a hospital at Mangalore along with daughter to abort the two-month-old pregnancy.
On the last day, the girl who is a plus-one student' went to a private hospital at Kanhangad following stomach pain. During the medical check up, doctors found that she was two month old pregnant and alerted the police.
Police took the testimony of the girl and recorded the arrest of her father, who sexually abused her several times at their house.
The victim has been admitted at Kannur Medical college hospital at Pariyaram and the medical process starts to abort the pregnancy, police said. (UNI)
