Kohli wins, Kumble loses!

Virat Kohli has grown bigger than anything in Indian cricket, it seems. After a shameful and spineless performance against Pakistan, Kohli still had the guts to oversee the ousting of the head coach Anil Kumble.

So Anil Kumble had to go. Between a boss and man, if a fight erupts, who is supposed to leave? Well, if the man is Virat Kohli, then obviously boss will leave! This is the picture of his dominance in team India.

Anil Kumble has stepped down as the coach of the Indian cricket team. Earlier BCCI had decided to not renew his contract. Clearly Virat Kohli was not ready to cave in and coach-captain relationship was in a bad bad shape. Nobody knows exactly what happened between them but the CT final fiasco was the picture of the internal rifts of Indian cricket.

Under Kumble, India won 10 out of the 13 home Tests with two draws and a single defeat. India also won a Test series in the Windies. Now this will be interesting to see who is going to fit in as the new coach of India.
