Leopard sighting near Chhattisgarh bus stand creates panic

Kanker (Chhattisgarh): People waiting at a Chhattisgarh bus stand in Kanker district on Tuesday were startled by the presence of a leopard on a tree nearby.
 
Passenger, drivers and small shopkeepers panicked on seeing the wild cat perched on a mango tree at the Bhanupratappur bus stand.
 
Chaos broke out as the tree was a private property alarming locals to flee and seek shelter away from the big cat.
 
A team from the Forest Department and police arrived at the scene to help with a peaceful capture and removal of the big cat from the town.
