Betul (MP): Efforts continue on war footing vis-à-vis rescuing an approximately eight-year-old boy who fell into a borewell at Mandhvi village in this district’s Athner block and got trapped at a depth of about 400 ft.
The operation is being monitored from the State Situation Room at Mantralaya.
Collector Amanbir Singh Bains and SP Simala Prasad are on the scene. A camera has been lowered into the underground structure and oxygen supply arranged. A perpendicular tunnel is being dug using excavators. (UNI)
