Bhind: A case of cheating and impersonation has been registered against a youth in the police constable recruitment exam 2023 in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh.

The accused who was selected in the exam had allegedly hired a "solver" to take the exam on his behalf.

Police sources said the fraud came to light on Monday when the documents of selected candidates were being verified at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Bhind, for joining.

The police had called the selected candidates for document verification under the police recruitment 2023. A total of 68 constables were allotted to Bhind district, including 45 male and 23 female constables. During the verification process, police officials detected irregularities in the case of Nitesh Singh Gurjar, a resident of Badhpura, Tehsil Joura, district Morena.

Further investigation revealed that Nitesh had used different identity cards and photos during the written exam and physical test, indicating that he had passed the exam with the help of a "solver". The police found that Nitesh had hired someone to take the exam on his behalf in August 2023.

A case has been registered against Nitesh under the Examination Act, and further legal action has been initiated. The police are also trying to track the solver.
