Alirajpur: A driver was thrown by a mob onto a burning pickup vehicle after irate villagers torched it as a girl had been mowed down at Chhoti Pol village near Barjhar level crossing in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar area, police said on Saturday.
Kanji (8) died on the spot in late Friday's incident. Subsequently, the crowd targeted Magan Singh (37) – a resident of Jobat tehsil's Jamli.
He was later rushed to a Primary Health Centre at Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar and thence referred to Dahod but succumbed while being conveyed to Vadodara. (UNI)
