Jabalpur: At least eight patients lost their lives and more than a dozen sustained burns owing to a blaze on Monday on the second floor of the privately-owned New Life Multi-Speciality Hospital here.
Confirming the tragedy, SP Siddharth Bahuguna said, “The injured have been admitted at different local infirmaries. Some of the victims are stated to be critical. Following an alert regarding the incident, fire brigade personnel lost no time in rushing to the scene. The cause of the blaze is hitherto unclear.”
