Damoh: A 25-year-old truck driver ended his life by jumping from a building at a district hospital in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Thursday.
Police sources said the incident occurred on Wednesday after the deceased, identified as Shubham, had admitted himself to the hospital complaining of abdominal pain.
He told the hospital that he was a resident of Imlai village, currently residing near Patharia Fatak in Damoh.
Before jumping from the building, Shubham allegedly stabbed himself in the abdomen with a pair of scissors and attempted to enter the hospital's SNCU ward.
The police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Shubham's death.
