Mah: Five killed, 3 injured in ONGC plant fire

Pune:Five people  were killed and three others suffered burn injuries in a massive fire which broke at ONGC's gas processing facility in Navi Mumbai's  Uran here on Tuesday.
The injured workers have been admitted to Uran rural hospital, said Raigad police control room.The inferno was successfully doused within two hours by the firefighting team.
 
Fire tenders from ONGC, Dronagiri, JNPT, Panvel and Nerul were engaged in the firefighting operation. The Uran police have cordoned off the area at a distance of 2 kilometres. (UNI)
