Maharashtra: 4-storey building collapses in Mumbai, 1 killed and 11 injured

Mumbai: One person was killed and eleven others were injured, after a four stories building collapsed at Naik Nagar, at Kurla here last night, officials informed on Tuesday.

A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said, eight people have been rescued so far, adding that more than 20 people are still feared to be trapped under the debris. Rescue operation was going on in full siwng, he said.

Meanwhile, the state Minister Aaditya Thackeray visited the site and took stock of the situation.

He said that such property should be vacated on the notice of the BMC. (UNI)
